I watched most of the rounds before, and wasn't interested in what happened to any of the acts that got through, and now that 'Strictly come dancing' has started and it overlaps I've moved on to that. Definitely prefer that nowadays |

Macdonalds were sooo rubbish - I completely agreed with the 'no personality' comments. I didn't think they should have gone through at all - it should have been those 2 black guys, the ones who were half of the original group - I liked them! I don't like Ben either, I thought the other black girl should have gone through from Sharon's group, I suppose she had to put 2 men and 2 women through though. (sorry not very good with names pmsl) Me n Charlotte must be in the minority cos we thought the Unconventionals were great! Taped it last night, but if we had watched live, then we would have voted for them. Cannot understand how the Macdonalds weren't in the last 2 and Dionne was???? Maz. XX Oh and why oh why did Leona straighten her hair - those curls are gorgeous! |

Makes urn of tea at end of waiting room...lol Choccy digestives too, all laid out nicely on a plate with a doyley. Didn't Shane from last year have an operation on his throat? He's working on an album in the states last I heard. |

Tell you what, I could listen to Ben everyday with that wonderful singing voice he was the best so far for me bthen 4Sure next. Didnt like what they did to Leona hair though it was a style way too old for her. Goes with thedancing moves that Mr Cowell spoke of, both way too old. Looking forward to next weeks show, But there again we might all change our minds with a different song. |

Have to say I'm getting fed up with the x factor now. We have had too many shows I think. Have to stick up for the Macdonald brothers though. Just imagine 1 minute being 2 brothers singing in local pubs etc then having to go in front of an audience and thousands of public!!! They did admit to being really nervous, I think nerves got the better of them all. |

I think Ray sounded awful last night.....he might have been better if he wasn't made to sing that awful song 'Ben' I think he is heavily relying on his super smile and confident personality to get him through the weeks. He definatly has the edge over most of the others as far as performing goes, seeing that he had been in a prime time soap for many years. |

Didn't think much of Kerry. Sweet enough voice, but no. X Factor is one of the highlights of the week for me, poor sad thing that I am, but the biggest problem with the show is that we often go for the songs that we know and like, and not always the performer, as they are all good. Don't know how I will get on next week as am not a Rod Stewart fan. (Wraps arms round head to ward off blows) Lynda x |
