Ahhhh, MNEMONICS - basically tranlsated as memory aids. In this case small phrases that help us spell difficult words: Because: Big Elephants Can Always Understand Small Elephants. And to remember copmpass points from the top going right: Never Eat Shreded Wheat Lyn x x x x
