speaking from personal experience....some of u are way off the mark.it is totally devestating to the whole family.u cannot even begin to imagin the pain,stress,fear,heartache...i cannot even put it properly into words..and it never goes away...and it kills a bit inside u that doesnt come back.

Hi, I'm new to this site but may I add my support to the lone voice of deborah. I agree with everything she's said. This is a very emotive subject on which most of us, esp women, will have an opinion but what that lady did was not administer justice but revenge. I know that there doesn't seem to be enough of the former in this world but surely that is no reason to exact the latter. What if she'd made a mistake and picked the wrong men? Sue

I think this one deserves a line under it,,,,,,,,, No one should take the law into their own hands,,,,,,but this 81 year old did,,,silly or couragous? she felt justiyfied in her actions,and no doubt will face her if any punishment with the knowledge it will not happen again by these 2 individuals, ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Linda I don't have children which perhaps does not make me as 'qualified' as you to comment on this. I therefore can't say how I would feel if this happened to me but it does make me see things in a much less 'coloured' way than you do. The rapists were wrong and are now being punished for their crime. What the grandmother did was also wrong so she should also be punished.

If it was one of my two daughters that had been violated i believe i would do anything i could to hurt the scum who did it, at least those evil Bs will ruin no more girls lives, My OH works for the prison service and i can guarantee you they would not be adequately punished if it happened here, Hi Linda and everyone, this is a very emotive subject caz x
