The service of Rememberance is always on the 2nd Sunday in November. This year its the 8th. Starting the Poppy Appeal on 25 Oct is 2 weeks until then. |

I have always preferred the (correct) Scottish poppy plus the fact that thousands aren't wasted adding silly paper leaves which shouldn't be there in the first place. |

The Royal British Legion said that here is no particular way to wear the Poppy. The important thing is that we purchase one and remember it's significance. |

The leaf at 2 o'clock can also be seen as 11 minutes past. So tidier and just as apt. |
