Island Report 19 Sep 2013 19:31

I call His Nibs his nibs :-D he doesn't know I do though :-D

I like to air a few annoying phrases from time to time. I had a run on 'bob' for a while when everyone on Corrie was suddenly bobbing hither and yon.
My favourite was Audrey - "Ah'll bob you a text" :-D
Funny, they don't say it much now. :-(

Most of the above.

People who use your name as every third word in whatever they're saying.

Human Resources - which replaced Personnel just before I retired. I told my boss that I was NOT a Human Resource - I was a PERSON!!! (I think he was glad I was leaving). :-)

They are busily removing their clothing and you should be doing the same.

It does my napper in when someone says "I'm only saying", usually after saying something you didn't particularly want to hear.

Usually, they're not "only saying" - they're stirring it.

Hello

The person on the telephone who says "Bear with me a moment".

It drives me nuts. Why do we have to bear with them?!

Best wishes
Elizabeth
