Daff's thread of November the 24th 2007 as posted by Susan on 19th November 2012 is one of the best descriptions of how these boards were/should be that we have. It should be read by everyone on the boards, oldies and newbies. Sometimes we lose sight of how good the boards can be. Still influential Daff :-) <3 If you only knew how much I need a dose of your support now.

I didn't know until the last few hours that we had lost Daff (I've been off the boards for a couple of years or more myself because of family illness). Daff Was a lovely person, I remember upsetting her once and of course I apologised she was so gracious and quick to forgive,,,,,bless you Daff <3

Lovely to read all these tributes to Daff again.

Sue with numbers. I was especially moved by the posting that Daff did in 2007. It says a lot about GR but even more about Daff herdelf.

A wonderful, caring and funny woman. She will live forever in our memories.

as someone said to me when my OH died - no one is really dead until everyone who knew them is dead too - quite a comfort to me that is <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

She'll always be with us (her ears must burn every day..lol). Never stop talking about those that have left us <3 <3

Susan of course she can hear you, our Daff wouldn't miss a bit of gossip.

Miss her so much, she could always make me laugh and was always there for any of her friends who needed support. Seems like yesterday. <3 <3 <3

Two years!!! unbelievable - seems like only yesterday we were at her funeral Sue - hr sister lives just around the corner from me yet I don't think I've ever seen her - wonder if she looks like Daff?

As I said before, she was a one off and one of those people who when you met for the first time seemed like a friend you had known for years - a person who came into your life and made it better - someone I was proud to call a friend <3 <3 <3 <3

Oh Daffy my little friend.....just when I need you and there you are. making me laugh as usual.

Well my little friend, nothing has changed apart from the fact that you are no longer with us. There isn't a day goes by I don't wish you were still here. I don't think I have ever laughed as much as I did with you on the phone for hours on end.

Yes, I know she can't hear me........hold on a minute though......maybe she can and is having a good laugh with the angels :-D

Two years today. Still miss her and her wicked sense of humour, her kindness, her willingness to help others when she herself was suffering.
