Wend,
I would not recommend anyone to make their own Chili powder.
I made some last year for the first time.
I ended up being being temporarily blinded for several really painful minutes.
(Spent some time with head over the bathroom sink washing my eyes out).

And I breathed in some of the fine powder when using the blender (burns your throat) ,not very nice I can assure you.
Next time I make some its Goggles and mask for certain, that`ll teach me to mess with Cayenne peppers again. :-P

I know what it feel like now when the police pepper spray some one. :-(
