Wend Report 14 Sep 2011 23:25

What's me got to do with the smell of bacon, Prickles - eh? eh? eh?

Wedding fever abounds in our household - my 'little' 30 year old boy got married at the register office to-day, surrounded by his family and outlaws and it's the BIG party, after a blessing, on Saturday. Two days to scrub up and behave proper is a bit much in one week, but so far so good.

Back to normal next week xxx :-D

Wend Report 15 Sep 2011 08:46

Morning Dizzi - we did have a lovely lunch afterwards, but bacon wasn't on the menu lol. Yes, I did have a tear in my eye, especially when his mother-in-law did a reading of 'How Do I Love Thee?' My eldest daughter blubbed throughout the whole ceremony!

I've got a bit of a headache this morning :-S

Island Report 15 Sep 2011 09:34

Aaw Wend, blubbing daughters can give one a headache ;-)

Congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Wend.

I'm sure you will have no difficulty with two days of decorum as you are the verry essence of genteelness :-D :-D :-D

I didn't know you had an allottment Wend, lucky you.
Do you keep a pig on it? (just to keep on topic :-D)

Wend

Wend Report 15 Sep 2011 13:50

Sorry Island, I had to go back to bed! Thank you for calling me genteel - I could've believed you if you hadn't put 3 cheesey grins :-D :-D :-D

No pig as I don't grow truffles. Chickens - yes, so back to topic - eggs to go with the bacon.

Off to have a bacon sarnie :-)

Merlin Report 15 Sep 2011 14:59

This happens to be the Bacon Thread, a-c-t-u-a-l-l-y, Prickles, in case you hadn't noticed.

I always say - if in doubt, baked beans on toast. Does it for me.

I'm only replying to this because I'm waiting for my nails to dry.

Yes, they're done - nighty, night, sleep tight x
