Hi ButtercupFields,

It's not a sense of direction you need. Just take the easy route - go down south it's downhill all the way - just sit on a tin tray and get someone to give you a push.

It's fun as I knew it. :-D :-D

I still have a copy of the wondrous thread about a man in green tights. It was sooooooo funny and loads of members who didn't usually add just posted that they were laughing uncontrollably. Especially when his 'comesome' wench (boy was she thick) was darning his tights using a mushroom. When the wench, who suffered from letter myxomatosis, was about to announce Friar Tucks arrival there must have been screams of laughter all over the UK.

It went on for pages and pages. I couldn't read it for wiping my eyes from laughing so much. Everyone wanted to go to the loo but we were transfixed and didn't want to miss the next post :-D :-D :-D

The laughter seemed to disappear about 4-5 years ago - there were such daft hysterical threads and the postings were fast and furious. I can recall putting up a thread about cleaning an oven and it was hysterical - never thought an oven could be funny.

There was Daniel and Olivia - the young ones. Daniel used to turn up at meets go home with a member and with difficulty they were trying to throw him out days later!!!

I don't necessarily agree with 'moving on'...unless I'm behind the wheel of the steam roller ;-)

ButtercupFields Report 20 Jul 2011 22:30

Ahhh Chris...Daniel. I remember him well. Out of the kindness of my heart I invited him to stay and show him around London, him being young and never been to London.. Five days later I nearly had to push him out of the door and when I was waving him off (thankfully and gratefully) at the station...I said, 'Daniel, have you forgotten something?' 'What' he said as he took his nose out of his book. 'Thank you would be good' I snarled and I left him sitting there.

Ah yes, I remember him well :-D :-D :-D

Good evening everyone...
I haven't been around for a long time due to my computer and I being poorly. Its good to see some people I know still posting and new ones too. The site seems to have changed but then everything changes over time.
I hope you are all keeping well? xxx

Ah, clever lad Daniel, lots of free breaks.

I am trying to think of the young girls name, it is on the tip of my tongue, don't think it was Olivia chris, unless that was another one. This one went to uni at st Andrews.
