No haven't thought of Auctions yet for the house.It could be an idea though.I just feel so sorry for her (and us) as we are paying half the mortgage as her ex has just walked away and has paid nothing for 3 years !!!!

My sister has a bit of a lisp when she was little,and she said eth for yes,and called me Drain instead of Jane lol.Thnake ..snake.I could go on !!

We had a talk about lisps when Janice was here with her daughter and Fin.He has a lisp too.Chris has some kind of lispy thing.We came to the conclusion that they all have wide tongues.

Jane, I bet Hannah is REALLY fed up about that house!!! Can she not change the mortgage to one she could let it with? Maybe the latest buyer is trying it on to get the price down a bit. A small adjustment might still clinch it.

That was a good idea to get the doc to drop by Mel. Maybe her appetite will come back a bit now she's had some toast. Toast is always what I fancy first when I've been off colour.

We are off to Northampton in the morning for OH's interview for the second job. Afterwards we are going to find our way to the Boot and Shoe museum Frank mentioned a while back. I don't think the forecast is too bad. He hurt his finger somehow when he was moving some soil in the garden today. It happened a couple of weeks ago as well. Very painful to bend and looks a bit puffy around the joint. I told him it may be gout which cheered him up no end!! He told me I may have to drive him there if it's no better in the morning. lol

When Dennis,Ralph and myseself were children we used to get a piece of what tasted like chocolate to our uneducated palletes. It was worm cake to kill intestinal parasites.We also each got a spoonful of malt to aid strong bones,or avoid rickets.

Jane, thanks for sending the pics, but they haven't come through. I wonder what's happening. Everything else seems to be ok.... It's a real puzzle.... They are lost in cyberspace lol. Hope they arrive as I would love to see them.
What a rogue Hannah's EX sounds.... Hope she finds someone nice eventually. A friend of mine had a similar experience.... She was dating a guy for about 2 years... Then they married.... After one year she found out he was talking to an American girl on the internet. She was heartbroken. Anyway, he took off for USA and she was left with a whacking mortgage. Her mum then ended up paying half, until she sold.

Daughter no 1 had difficulty with pronouncing words David when she was little she could not pronounce words that begain with ST she used to say
tar for star and the little boy across the road would be tuart instead of Stuart,while she was at nursery she had a visit from the speech therapist who said she would grow out of it, but by the time she was almost ready to start school we went to the doctors and he sent her to a specialist and she diagnosed that daughter was tounge tide, so she went into hospital to have the little bit of skin that holds your tounge down snipped.
and she has been fine ever since.


David I had impetigo when I was 22, caught it from the kids at the nursery where I worked, was glad Boyfriend(OH now) was at sea as I wouldn't have been able to have that goodnight kiss.
Also was about 22 when I caught chicken Pox from the kids at the nursery.

Mel as a diabetic, you can have a meal in a can-which is like milk shake
in flavors, so maybe if Mum wont eat she would drink this,Maybe worth a try--lol x

Hi Mandy.... Thank's for sending the photo's...... Yet again, no sign of them. How weird is that lol. Ever since Tiscal# became Tal# Tal#, things haven't been the same. Having said that, most of my correspondence is coming through ok. Will have to start beating on the war drums and find out what is happening lol

That's strange Catie , although i did think the message went quickly ,it usually takes a minute or two to send when there's photo's.

My email with Fionas pics took a while to go .I could see each click for attachments.Very strange.I wonder why it is not getting through to Catie.

Shirl ,Hannah can't rent as her Mortgage company don't do mortgages on buy to let.So they said NO when she asked about renting out.
She just wants shot of the house which will end all ties with her EX as he is on the mortgage deeds etc, and she is unable legally to get his name taken off
