I have always been interested in members numbers on here- usually as a means of keeping track of those with the ever changing identities - lol.

But I would like to know who is still posting on GR,
and has the lowest (i.e. oldest) registration number?

One member had a very low number, just over 100, but now has a later membership

I think Margaret from Kent had a number in the 1,000's but not seen a post for the last few months

The lowest number I know is a lady in New York 27xx

but as Glitter says, 100+ she renewed with a new number

I can't remember my real membership number, I've been here since Jan 2003 but I know people have been here longer than me and must have older numbers.

Janey, if you are my cousin, does that mean I benefit from your genealogical expertise ;)? (Compiles long list of mysteries for cousin Janey to solve lol)

didn't realise it was a competition lol (If I'd known, i may have forgotten to add the last number ;) lol)

I have been doing my tree off and on since 2000. I haven't stopped doing it but have spent a lot of time fixing my tree when I had problems with my family tree program and also spent a lot of time on chat,

In lots of ways I'm still quite a newbie when it comes to genealogy.
