*pops head around the corner....* These here manoovers are meant to be fun fun fun... well, except the sunstroke one which isn't great the next day, is it Stray??? lolol Sounds like you are all getting the hang of it very well indeed.. in fact, Stray and BC it might be an idea if you do only the minimal remedials tonight... unless you think a hair of the dog is in order???

I have had visitors and telephone calls all day, lol. So I have had to leave you pretty much to your own devices... I have also been busy in between... avoiding the swearing is really hard work, isn't it?

I haven't stopped laughing... so have brought these in to keep in the store cupboard for emergencies.... *hands over huge pack of tenna's* lolol

Evening Ma'am and fellow private soldiers,

I am going off duty now, before I get put in the glasshouse. I have peeled the dustbin full of spuds ready for the field-kitchen tomorrow. Someone else can get up early to put the porridge on as I don't think I am on cookhouse duties.

My yellow wellies have been washed off - I forgot to change them before I dug the cabbage patch, and my buttons have been polished. I think I lost some glitter from my headband, but the mash will look better tomorrow - just pretend it is pepper.

Private Brummie reporting for duty, Has anyone found any bulling rings yet? so we can shine our wellies, don't forget the kiwi polish and the bottle of Klear floor polish. They are the best things for bulling the boots up girls.

Please can I offer up a sick note from the "Dr" as I'm still recovering from my op and am struggling when I get home from work after being on my feet already, so I don't think I'll be able to do manouvers at the mo.

Good morning Daff and fellow privates ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ to all

Unfortunately I have had to give in with the dungarees. I couldn’t face another day standing to attention (plus other problems).

However, I have had a rummage through our works stores (I work for a builder) and found a very fetching high-viz orange jacket and trousers. I think they belonged to Big Jock so are a bit big but a nice spangly belt will keep the trousers up. I now look like a tango’ed Michelin man.

It has a bit of a strange pong about it and – eeeerrrrrggggh – what is that in the pocket????

Morning all. *glares at Susanwif...I don't normally have my porridge a t2.14am thank you! lol *twirls pink cowboy hat around on finger. I feel a Line Dance coming on. Nice day here, not raining, have two visitors coming to stay for a few days so am busy doing last minute dusting etc. Have searched and searched for bulling rings but cant findem.

What a way to start a morning, lolol.... cold lumpy prridge... yuk!! *thanks Susanwiv and the slippers look like guinea pigs wot have been chucked in the mud... someone will surely report to the RSPCG???*

As I am swann.... errr, I mean off on a secret mission to Blackpool *I would tell you all about it, only then I would have to eat you. Or is that shoot you??? Anyway, it involves very secret stuff like cwtching, tickling, and general subversive stuff like that. Oh, and it is my granddaughter's turn to read the bedtime story, cos she is 5 now and can read.* I think I am going swimming... observing from the balcony, not participating, that would muss up my new funky hairdo, that would. She is going for her 10 metre badge. Without floats, real proper swimming. And she only drowns a little bit. (that last is Granny's fault. I do not say *it is bath/shower time, I say, it's drowning time and make those noises like on scary programmes. She doesn't scare easily... tough stuff she is, she just laughs and thinks it is funny. She sounds like she should be on Corrie. Her swimming teacher was a bit taken aback when she found out that Granny tried to drown her.

I digress..... as I started to say, I am off on this secret mission, so everyone has been stood down for the weekend... you all have your passes? Good.... Now, off you all go and enjoy yourselves, cos the battle starts next week, lolol

Oh, we are stood down for the weekend, I didn't apply for my pass. Off to the guardroom for that. I have already replenished the foodstores and was hoping to potter in the cabbage patch, but it is raining. I shall have to find some indoor jobs.
