You're welcome, Shimmer and Ray... I still think I have an under-active something, lol... but that will have to go on the back burner for a few more months yet.... but the people on that site gave me the info I needed and the support... therefore the courage... to demand the full works, as far as blood tests were concerned. Although I didn't get picked up for thyroid... I was picked up for very early Leukaemia, which wouldn't have happened but for those folk on that site!! A few more weeks and it would have been too late for me.!! |

I too can't remember if it works that quickly Ray. But the fact that you are feeling better is good news in itself. So maybe in your case it did. |

Fascinating thread, folks, I am waiting for results of blood tests taken last Tuesday. I have had numerous tests due to being TATT and other symptoms, always comes back ok with my doc saying I am ridiculously healthy, but my hair is thinning even more than usual - my Mum always had thin fine hair and mine is the same but she was never diagnosed with thyroid problems altho was diabetic - late onset into full blown after her first heart attack. I have fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome already, and irritable bowel syndrome too. At the mo seem to have irritable bladder problems as well so back to docs this coming week. |
