Eldrick

Eldrick Report 2 May 2008 19:50

I am looking out of my window into the field on front of my house and a mother sheep has had triplets. She can only suckle two so the third little mite is getting left out, poor little thing. His little wobbly legs mean he can’t keep up with his stronger little brother and sister and his mum doesn’t seem to care. I wonder what I should do?

But hold on…….if I smuggle him out of the field….the farmer won’t know ‘cos he will think that mummy has just had twins. I could then rear the little chap with love and kindness in my garden shed and take him for walks at night when no one will see. Ahem.

I think a sheep would make an ideal companion. Only question is……mint sauce or rosemary?
