Hi Ivy

I saw that 1881 entry and was wondering about the brother in law reference. Perhaps Elizabeth is his sister.

The census retrurns show Joseph as being born in Chester. The IGI also gives us the following information:

1. Mary Twyerould - International Genealogical Index
Gender: Female Birth: 18 SEP 1812

2. Mary Twyerould - International Genealogical Index
Gender: Female Christening: 25 OCT 1812 St John The Baptist'S, Chester, Cheshire, England

3. John Twyerould - International Genealogical Index
Gender: Male Marriage: 15 APR 1805 St John The Baptist'S, Chester, Cheshire, England

I also got some useful info off the lancashire bmd.

Definitely beginning to piece this one together

Hi Mary and Charles,

Pure chance, I did a global Ancestry (co uk) search on Twy*r*l* and came up with these two in Wales.

It looks like at least one child went and to Victoria in Australia (several 20th electoral roll entries); and there are some locked entries for the US.

Does anyone have access to the Ancestry.com?

(Btw I have my doubts about the Elizabeth entry above - I can't find her in 1841, but there are several Twyfords in the Cheshire/Lancs/Wales borders area).
