Hi is there anyone out there who has access to usa ancestry and could help me . I am looking for info on FRANK LEROY THOMPSON born 20/11/1883 in New York.his wife was CLARA DAHL c1886 and they had i think about 8 children the thompsons originally came over from scotland but not sure when or which generation so it is something i am trying to find out. also one of frank and clara's children - Charles douglas thompson c1921 new york married Antoinette Demianoff and would love to find info on this couple it is said that Antoinette came from russian descent? anyone out there want a challenge ?

Ohh, are you THE Linda?? I still think of you often! You were wonderful!!!!

I have to work "tomorrow" and it's 2:15 a.m. I did look around for Egbert in 1880, trying to find the parents and didn't see him, but saw several similar names. I also very quickly looked for Antoinette, but didn't see anything.

PS Renee is doing fine and living in Northern California now. Thank you again for all that you did! I'll check here tomorrow night, in case I can help again. I'm sure you'll have plenty of responses by then, though.

Also, Egbert's wife was known as May and Mary (depending on the census).

There are census returns for the years 1910, 1920 and 1930. On Ancestry, most death records start around the 1960's (50's?), I believe. A few states do have earlier records.

hi sorry but i was at the dentist. the 1910 census for frank is not the right one fran and clara's first child was leroy g thompson born 1905 new york. dont know when or where frank and clara married. only other info i have is that frank had a brother egbert he was the one on the 1900 census . dont know anymore about him. egbert was born 1872 and frank 1883 so there is a chance that they might be together in 1890 census.

Clara Dahls father was english so dont know when he emmigrated her mother was born in new york clara was born in c 1886 New York

There is no 1890 census.It was destroyed by fire.Just a few odds and ends available.

thanks for that jim no wonder they cant be found on that census can you access births deaths and marriages like we can over here.

Hi there. CAN ANYONE IN THE USA HELP??I have found my g grandmothers baptism cert it says she was baptised in the episcopal church on jan 13th 1887,it even gives the pastors name as J.K.Kinsely. where would I find her birth cert?. on her baptism cert it says she was born in robertsdale on 13th march 1886 her name was mary elizabeth watson daughter of john & Margaret Watson
