hi y'all, i'll remeber 1837, next time i get a rough batch! The good news is the next batch for 1871 is lovely and clear! so i'll be able to rattle them off really quickly!!! Julie T:)

Jay, Helen means looking at the page at 1837 can sometimes be clearer that the scans from which we transcribe.

Julie Have you tried looking at the page on the 1837 online site? When I get a really bad one I find it's often a better copy on there and worth the 10p.

to anyone looking on FreeBMD for births in the Dec Quarter of 1873, esp if the names start with HAR.(p 209-215) I have been trancribing possibly the worst quality scans on the planet, and as a result there are more query marks than numbers! hopefully the next person doing these scans will have more luck than lil ole me!!
