to anyone looking on FreeBMD for births in the Dec Quarter of 1873, esp if the names start with HAR.(p 209-215) I have been trancribing possibly the worst quality scans on the planet, and as a result there are more query marks than numbers! hopefully the next person doing these scans will have more luck than lil ole me!! Julie Have you tried looking at the page on the 1837 online site? When I get a really bad one I find it's often a better copy on there and worth the 10p. |

Hi Julie I know what you mean! I am transcribing marriages for 1891 and some bits are quite bad but i'm enjoying it. I like a challenge. Zoe |
