I'm new to all this. I have found them in the birth index's on 1837oneline. so where can i find the the 1891 /1901

Have you found them on the 1891 and 1901 censuses. If you could find out who they were living with it may give you a link to your family Jeanette x

It looks as thought they are sisters. Could they have been the daughters of a servant working for the family.

Does any one know where I can go from here? I have found 2 names in the family bible which has been handed down. Emily Windel 18th Dec 1886 Harriet Windel 7th April 1888 Both born in Hull, We have not been able to link them to the family, is this a common thing, passing family bibles to different families. I have found them on 1837oneline, but have got not further; it’s driving me mad now. Any one got any ideas I live in Scotland, so unable to look for them locally.
