just had a look and cannot find him in 1891 census, do you have more info on alice and i'll search for her and see if that might lead you somewhere

Hi Alice was born Stanton Suffolk i dont know the marriage date but they had a son William born 1895 so i would guess Alice born around 1875 . her sister Selina was born 1882 and living in Deptford.Many thanks

I need info on my Grandfather Thomas Adam Walter SANDS, born Middlesbrough c 1888 and his father, an Iron Worker called William Sands who was married in Middlesbrough, lived at Parliament Street and married a Maria Thornton from either 1881 or 1891 records Many thanks John Sands

James, I think I may have found a tenuous thread from the 1901 census and would be grateful if you could look on earlier census for these people and see who was in their household at the time. John Thornton, born Northants, Byfield, Civil Parish - Byfield, Occupation- General Agricultural Labourer. Age on 1901 Census - 55 Willam Thornton, Same as above but occupation- Farmer Age on 1901 census- 58 many thanks john

james have you got 1871 for Portsmouth Hampshire? If so could you please look at Robert Warner born Durston (or N Pettherton)Somerset he would be 53, and his wife mary a warner born Durston Somerset, she would be 46 and family, if any are with them. Very many thanks Ann Glos

Hi Jim, would you be kind and look up HARRY G JONES 31 Born Westminster ELLEN JONES 21 HARRY G JONES 3 MINNIE E JONES 2 ARTHUR S H 6/12 RG 12/79 WESTMINSTER. Could you decipher the address for me please. It looks like 28 Upper ?Garden St But the Garden bit could be anything else. Have looked at it for ages but not sure. Hi James Could you do a 1871 and 1891 lookup on the Phillips family please. Husband Samuel b 1825 Ross Wife Mary b 1831 Eardisley Their children all born in Foy Herefordshire Mary Ann b 1855 Alice b 1857 Willam b 1859 Emma 1861 my Grandfather Leonard b 1875. The family were living in the hamlet of Hole in the Wall, in the Parish of Foy, Herefordshire. I know some of older children may not have been living at home at the time when the census was taken. The name may have spelt Phillipps Regards Carole

Hi, I need some help in searching for the Humphrey family in the 1871 census. I am trying to find Harry Humphrey born 1854 in Whitstable, Kent. I have found him in the 1881, 1891 and 1901 census living with his family in Whitstable. But if you could help me find in the 1871 census would be very grateful.
