Hi Marie Now I know whats involved can I request a lookup please? John Pedley from Cheddleton, Staffs. Born c1800 and married Mary - surname unknown - early 1820's I would imagine. Don't know how it is arranged on your CD's but if this helps, he came from Wetley Rocks, sometimes classed as Cheddleton, sometimes listed under Ipstones. Thanks Sam (in fact any Pedley's from this area would be great!)

Marie, I'm not sure if this is enough information for a look up as it's not something I've requested before. William Sweeney born c. 1810 Derry, Ireland married Mary (possibly Mooney) born c. 1814 Dublin, Ireland Their first child was born 1842 in Richmond, North Yorkshire so I would guess they married there sometime between 1834 and 1842. If you have the time to look for their marriage in Richmond I would be so grateful. Many thanks Emma

Hi Marie Could you look on 1881 census for Arthur WATSON born 1823/24 Cumberland. Living Dalston on 1871 - Barrow in Furness 1891 so why can I not find him on 1881? Another pair of eyes would be appreciated. Also looking for marriage of Robert Scott and Rebecca married Cumberland c1839 to 1843 Many thanks in advance Pauline

Hello Marie, I am looking for any details on two names. One is George Henry Parr, father's name Thomas, born Daventry June quarter 1840. The problem with this man is that on the 1891 Census his age gives a birth year as above, but on his marriage certificate, the birth year could be 1843. The other is Frank Owen Haydon, father's name William Owen (or Owen), born December quarter 1879. In both cases I am interested in were they possibly where in 1881, and in Frank's case who his mother may have been. I appreciate that the records are not complete, but thank you for any help you can give. Paul

Many thanks for trying Marie, It seems that the two of them do not want to be found, especially George Henry. Received George's marriage certificate from 1888 today, and it seems he was still a bachelor at 45, which blew one of my theoris out of the water. Never mind, he will turn up when he wants to. Paul
