I have just sent an email to the member, Angela, who seems to be the real 'owner' of our Mystery man....thought she might like to have a look at this thread and see all the fun her ancestor is having in our trees... oh, and I did explain that we have asked GR to sort out same and in no way blame her.

Have had an email from Genes to say 'This problem has now been resolved and will work correctly if you would like to try again'. Well, just tried again a minute ago and...he is still there. Have replied to them to this effect.

I think it's a ploy by GR so they can boast that almost everyone on the site has connected their trees! Not me however, he doesn't seem to want to belong to my family. I wonder if it's because 'my ancestors' only goes back 5 generations? I already have all the names filled in this far back so there's nowhere for him to appear.

He has Margaret. He's left my ancestors and I can also access my tree. Hope he enjoyed his visits everywhere. LOL Carol :)
