Exactly heather, something defo not right.... and if you look at the 1901, he suddenly has a new son, Harrold POINTON! me thinks he was upto the naughty naughties Now I have found an Ellen Deaville living in Stockport on the 1891 and the 1901 census, born abt 1863 and in Congleton. Right... when Nan died last year, I inherited the Family Bible... in it are lots of 'Funeral Cards' dating back years.. and in there is a Funeral Card for Ellen Deaville, Died 5 Jan 1911 aged 47, and buried at Stockport Cemetary I'm now wondering if this is my Mary Ellen....wotcha reckon? Christine in Herts Report 4 Oct 2005 21:53

As Olive is there as a nurse-child, is it reasonable to suppose that her mother may not be all that far away? I was trying to go forward and back with the images, but Ancestry won't play just now. Christine

Christine in Herts Report 4 Oct 2005 21:43

I found Charles on the 1881 - as you ,said, with his father. But, looking at the image, his married status isn't 'unknown' it's 'unmarried'. Christine

There is an Olive Derral (nearest to surname I could find) b abt 1880 Leek, Staffordshire, England Nurse Child 48 Mill Street, Leek & Lowe, Staffordshire, England with Eli Plant abt 1869 with wife Eliza Plant and other family. However I could be completely wrong - I often am!! :-) Joy
