Can someone help I can't access 1851 on Ancestry!!

Hi Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong I can't seem to access 1851 census,I pay for the Uk collection. I just keep getting up a sample 1851 Please help!!!!!!! Cheryl

I don;t think you can access it through Ancestry, you have to go into www.1851-census(.)co.uk and as long as you are logged into your Ancestry account, it should work. Sam x

Go to http://www.1851-census.*co.uk/ Put your name in the Ancestor's First Name: Ancestor's Last Name: part and submit. You have to be logged into Ancestry.*co.uk for it to work, not *com (If that doesn't work, I don't know what to suggest. It does for me.)

Hi Jess This driving me loopy. I've put my Gt Grans name as she was born in 1850 in Cheshire but all I'm getting is the 1851 Sample Census and Cheshire isn't on it. I've even tried her father who was born in Shropshire and he doesn't appear Help!!!!! Cheryl

if you look on message, '1851 now online!!!' on the last page paula put an address in,very,very long but it worked for me karen

http://www*ancestry*co*uk/search/rectype/census/uk/default.aspx replace * with . You will then be on Search UK Census Collection click on arrow where it says Census year. Choose 1851, then put in the details you want to search for. Hope this helps u. Fi

Hi TRacy Yes I've got that page but when I put my Gt Grans name in nothing is listed. Here is my Gt Gt Grandfathers deatils can you put in his name and see what you get. John Spencer born 1816 Cheshire wifes name Ruth should be living in Nantwich Area of Cheshire Cheryl

Cheryl, there's a whole bunch of them that come up if you put it in the right place. Where are you putting the names? Jess, White and Blue yes... not sure about Green though...

Hi Where it says ancestors first name and then surname Cheryl
