Heather

Heather Report 29 Nov 2005 11:42

Well, just to test it! Ive just registered with a different mail addy and Ive got the ten freebies Vicky. Are you putting the LC2005 code in the right box? It should be the top box, ignore the second one.

Vicky

Vicky Report 29 Nov 2005 11:36

yes, I registered a while ago, and have bought units in the past, but they have all been used up now, so a few more would have been nice!

Heather

Heather Report 29 Nov 2005 11:35

Vicky, have you registered first? You have to register to do the freebie offer. It costs nothing to register on there and then just get the free units as per the message I put above.

Hi, sorry but registration is only from 1837. Ah, you mean they are their dates of birth. Where did you find this couple? Was it on a census? Did they have any children? When and where were the children born please? Is this them in 1851? View Record Louisa Bonner abt 1812 Moreton, Oxfordshire, England Wife New Thame Oxfordshire View Record Louisa Bonner abt 1838 Thame, Oxfordshire, England Daughter New Thame Oxfordshire View Record Maria Bonner abt 1842 Thame, Oxfordshire, England Daughter New Thame Oxfordshire View Record Rebecca Bonner abt 1844 Thame, Oxfordshire, England Daughter New Thame Oxfordshire View Record Rhoda Bonner abt 1846 Crendon, Oxfordshire, England Daughter New Thame Oxfordshire View Record Rowland Bonner abt 1840 Thame, Oxfordshire, England Son New Thame Oxfordshire View Record William Bonner abt 1818 Thame, Oxfordshire, England Head New Thame Oxfordshire View Record William Bonner abt 1849 Thame, Oxfordshire, England Son New Thame Oxfordshire Unfortunately its the time period 1866-1920 that is so easily checked for marriages, births and deaths - Im afraid without quite a lot of units and no year this would be a difficult one. You may want to put a thread on the records office as sometimes people have quite a few 1837 units they need to use up before the date runs out on them. Ive looked on freebmd but I guess you did too and the only one that comes up in the right time frame isnt a Louisa: Marriages Dec 1839 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- BONNER William Banbury 16 15 PARISH Elizabeth Banbury 16 15 If no one can find them on 1837 you could always send for the birth certificate of one of the children which would give her name. Or have you tried any Oxford sites in case they have records? This looks like the eldest daughters birth reference if you need it for the birth certificate: Births Sep 1837 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- BONNER Louisa Thame 16 92

Heather Report 28 Nov 2005 10:51

Pauline, one important thing on there - you will notice it says put in one first name only. When I first went on there I used to go mad not finding people and realised that was the prob. Only enter one first name.

Merry

Merry Report 28 Nov 2005 09:29

Pauline, can you give one specific example?? Merry

Heather

Heather Report 28 Nov 2005 08:20

Thats a shame Joyce, perhaps it ended yesterday. Is there a specific query you wanted to look up in the 1866-1920 range? I have a couple of units left.
