Got 2 Marriage Certificates this morning for OH Grandparents. Now my problems start:- William Farren marries Lilian Johnson on 6th July 1929 both are aged 25. William's Father is also William Farren a Boot and Shoe Maker. Lilian's Father is Henry Ernest Johnson a Baker. Lawrence Albert Vickers marries Hettie Shipstone on 6th October 1934 both aged 20. Lawrence's Fathers is Thomas Vickers an Electric Tram Driver. Hettie's Father is William ?Lon Shipstone a General Labourer. Typed these father's names into Ancestry and there are loads of them for each name. Joy |

OziBird Yes, Nottingham was the answer to where both couples married Witnesses for William and Lilian are:- H E Johnson and a W J York Witnesses for Lawrence and Hettie are:- A Shipstone and Violet Vickers. Joy |
