Hi Sue, First of all thank you for your kind offer and I wish you and your family a very happy 2006. Do you think you could have a look on the 1841 census for Frome Somerset. The name is Tom Higgins born c1833. Don't know his mother's name but his father is George Higgins, according to Tom's marriage cert George was a farmer. Also if you don't mind please could you try and find a birth for Frederic Percival born around 1861 Redmire Yorkshire. I have searched till my brain is frazzled and would appreciate a second pair of eyes looking just in case it is me having a senior moment - again. Thank you. Best wishes Margaret Lancashire

Hello Kath In relation to Sophia Rosser, you say that she was born in 1845 - is this correct - if so she will not be on the 1841 census. Also you state that she married in 1861, do you hold the certificate, if so what is her father's name Kind regards Sue

Hi Sue I'm looking for Silas Durrant in Dorset in 1851 and 1841. His father was William Durrant, and Silas was born around 1830 in Whitchurch Canonicorum. I can't find him in 1851 on Ancestry - don't know why, as I found entries on familyhistoryonline for both of them, but no real details. Silas was a dairyman, and William a carpenter. Any help gratefully received. Thanks Pat Train
