Member Since: August 2003 Posts: 93 Send Message	Yes that is the family you have found on the 1901 census. You could be right that they might be in Ireland and maybe they got married there. Dont hold out much hope in finding the marriage as I have no idea where in Ireland they came from. Many thanks to all that have searched for me without people like you I would have no chance of finding out information that helps me go to the next stage. Kevin

	Well as Annie was born 1892 - in England, I guess you could look at the bmd beta index for the marriage in England say a year earlier? If Annie is your direct ancestor I guess it doesnt make a lot of difference to you if he remarried. Though personally Id have to get one of the younger kiddies certs just to see if it was a different person! On tip - its unusual for someone to come over from Ireland without finding several of their family living nearby! Have you tried looking for James as a lodger or looking for people who may be his siblings in the same area? Good luck.
