Can't find death of gg grandfather

hiya carole, i'll have a look to see if i can find out, meanwhile i did find this, i know first name is wrong, but culd he have been called John? instead of joe? Name: John Hobday Birth Date: abt 1832 Year of Registration: 1887 Quarter of Registration: Apr-May-Jun Age at death: 55 District: Warwick County: Warwickshire Volume: 6d Page: 334 julie

Thank you Julie, I think he is Josephs twin brother. Josephs parents Joseph and Mary had several children and John was on the same census as Joseph in 1841 if I remember right. No wrong! Joseph who married Mary had a twin brother John! Their Joseph was b1827 and John 1836 So John who you just told me about could be John the elders son!

hiya carole, i can 'see' the O.W.T. info, but there is no contact details, i searched within One World Tree to find people interested in joseph but nothing, sorry, have you tried searching on here, for people with same names dates in their tree??? ie: search family trees on left of page ingreen column?? julie

Thanks for your interest Julie. I have several contacts on here but I have more than they do. One second cousin did tell me about Mary Bayliss, he sent an index but something didn't add up.That's why I asked who put it on OWT. It's a while since I looked at that so I'll have to go back there. I might e-mail my contacts to see if they have found a death for him but not added it to their tree yet. Thank you Carole

hiya carole, i had another look at OWT and i found another hobday, thomas, must be joes bro, this time, it has lots more info, I assume by this that the person in question is related to thomas, they even having 'living' rellies on there, no fore names just surnames, is for thomas hobday, 01 dec 1832 dob, have asquint cheers julie

carole, i'm not too sure, i have subsciption to it, but dont know why i bother, havent really used it, doesnt give as much as you'd think, i guess this site spoils you, being able to contact members direct, i did have a thought though, ancesrty has message boards as well, have you tried there for info on joseph??? perhaps member will see it fingers crossed Julie

Thanks Julie, I'll add a message to the Hobday board,and see if that get's any joy. Someone might have come across him even if he isn't their Hobday!
