she cant be reg as Barbara Nuttall in 1980 cos I,ve looked now at all the qtrs for 1980 and she not there. How sure are you she died in 1980 crossed with you reply .so she must have reg under a different name on death cant see Nuttall or McCorkindale or Davenport in 1980 death refs

she had two other names. i think her married name was nuttall? would you try that for me if you dont mind?

I've already looked under Nuttall Q3 1980 and also under Davenport and there are no Barbaras Why was she cremated using her maiden name? Merry

It could just be that her death reg is one of the few that didn't make it through to the GRO death indexes. Suggest you contact Blackburn reg office. You have the date and place of death. Please try and be sure you know what surname they should look for! The death cert will give you her maiden name and date and place of birth (the date of birth would normally be in the index!!)......If the informant at death knew this information (and what they had was correct) then it should enable you to know if the birth reg I gave you was the correct one. how come she cant be found? is there any reasons. Ive seen the cremation cert so she must have died 16-07-80? how could i find out more info?
