I think so Louise, I am pretty sure that they hold info for all shoemakers, my original thread mentioned 1841, 1851 as many of us had inconsiderate rellies who popped off between the two census so we didn't know where they were born. It may be worth sending them a postcard asking about your rellie. Good Luck Fuzzy x |

Hi Mo, My Grandad was a shoemaker, he was blinded in WW1 but still kept up his occupation. He did tailoring as well. It didn't get passed down to me. I have trouble sewing on a button... lol Linda |
