Hello Merry That's very possible as he was single, there was no family to stay on in the house after his death. I've been trying to think of possible family members that the couple could be. They must have been quite important to my mum or her cousin as one of them had had copies done of the original photo which had got damaged. Charlotte

Don't forget that you need to be wary of house-numbering - sometimes the whole lot was swapped around when the post office changed buildings! Christine

Just seen your comments about Rosebank, Southfields. My great-uncle was the James Young mentioned. He lived there from about 1901/2 until his death in 1933, then his widow (Sophia) continued to live there until she died in 1955.
