Doesn't their marriage certificate give an address for each of them? And if so, have you tried looking for those addresses on the census? By the way, if the date you give for their marriage is correct, then they got married after census night so could not have been away on honeymoon! Kate. |

Yes, as far as I know they got married in Cornwall. I've searched just on the name in case they may have been away on honeymoon.. but nothing. |

Am going nuts here trying to sort out Simon Noalls in St Ives Cornwall. I've found the Simon Noal/Noall I want from 1851 up to 1901. His birth date on all of those is 'abt 1819'. I know he married a Mary Ann Thomas on 19 June 1841 but however much I search I can't find him on the 1841 census. I've got credits on ancestry (of which i've wasted 10 looking for him tonight.. even tried looking at the image on a Sarah Noall in case the transcriber had misread the name lol), so if anyone can find him and let me know how to do the same I've got credits which I can use. I'd be very grateful for any help. Many thanks, Bex |
