Am now back. Sorry everybody, but had to go to help a neighbour. If anyone else has any ideas I would be grateful - not too experienced at this. Thank you everyone. Stella

I was hoping to find Fanny Clarkson in 1891, or Louise, but I can't see them on first glance and I have to go out now, so hopefully someone else will be able to continue Linda

Stella it was the Cliff Fever Hospital, it looks very small like a cottage hospital, she probably had a bad fever there were lots around at that time. Georgina.

Yes Linda - that is the right family. I do know they had a daughter Olive, but am puzzled about Ellen born prior to the marriage. Many thanks.

Georgina

Georgina Report 23 Jul 2006 11:32

Stella, there are usually 4 names on a marriage entry (8 names on earlier entries) the other 2 people would have married each other. Georgina.

Her mother's name was Fanny Clarkson and her father's name was Wigglesworth (surname) - don't know christian name. Fanny married a couple of years later to George Goodall, but I was told the child was raised by Fanny's parents Mary and Reuben Clarkson, but I cannot find her with them. Stella
