I wonder if someone would mind looking up a birth for me as I can not find it. It is for my father in law who was born in Jan 1930, in Gateshead I think. I've been backwards and forwards through the months on ancestry births and it's driving me mad! Thanks Clare PS anyone know what the name Molly would be short for?

Thanks Georgina, that could be him, we were led to believe he was born Jan 1930, he may have been a year younger than he thought he was.

Gary, the vast majority are. who are you looking for, where and when? might help if you told us where you have already looked too

Georgina

Georgina Report 23 Jul 2006 20:40

Gary it depends what years you are searching, freeBMD is not complete but you can trawl all BMD's on Ancestry for free from 1837-1983 but be prepared for a long trawl if you dont know which years you want. Clare that was the only birth for an Alfred Harle between 1829-1832. Georgina.
