Is it possible to get a record/register of all in the mental asylum some time after the case, then checking on all inmates to see if they existed beforehand? Merry he was 56 at time of trial

Can you find if someone was granted a passport? Might help me with my dodgy Ariels/Clarks/Farrs/Weavers. More money than sense that lot. Or morals!

There are some passport applications on 1837online. Can't say I've found any of mine there, though. It only gives the name and the year if I remember rightly.
