I must admit Merry When I applied for the Death certs of the Father and Mother they also confirmed the two other family members who had also died of Cholera and I did'nt ask.. Well worth getiing one cert and asking if they could check on the cause of death of the other two.. Some local registrars are very hepfu some others are not.. Mo |

Grampa! I didn't slap your wrist, I was just warning you that you shouldn't jump to conclusions! Maybe they all had the same illness, but it mightn't be an epidemic, it could have been anything infectious. |

The 2 weeks between each death seems a bit far apart for cholera, especially as they were young children. One of my ancestors lost both his parents to cholera in 1849. The deaths were only 4 days apart. Helen |
