If anyone in the family knows when any of these aunts and uncles of your grandfather died, their death registrations may help, esp if they died after 1969. The death informant would have been asked the date of birth of the dec'd. Merry

Hi Merry i have that one and also A/M/J 1905 George Clarke Croydon Surrey 2a 727 so not sure which one it is that is why i think i am best to get the marriage cert to confirm who Gerges parents are and then i can put that on the request when i order the birth cert. Thanks again jen

Do that! The marriage cert will only give you his father, though.....not his mother :o(( Merry
