My apologies for hijacking your FTM thread. Would have liked to post this on Trying to Find Board - but it doesn´t allow me to do so. Am trying to find someone ...................... on GR ???? What has happened to this site and where is everyone?? Is this supposed to be a professionally run board - I don´t think so. It has been brought to a standstill because a few well respected and extremely helpful members have been banned. GR I really think you have shot yourselves in the foot this time round - you advertise the fact that you wish to help the membership of the site with their genealogical queries but I cannot see any evidence of this. The site has been closed to any new postings for 24 hours now. It is a real pity that you have not taken past advice from long standing members and placed moderators on the board - how many members do you think you have lost through your failure to act in the past? Is it possible to claim back the remainder of my membership fee - apart from the fact that we are not currently allowed to use the boards, you have also banned one of the most helpful people you had on this site - Jess. Can we ask when this site will be up and running?

OK - so not denying it - we need to know for the celebration party!!

So come on Glen - when is the big birthday finishing with the O. From the age you gave the other day I estimate it to be aboutr the 16th Sept - yes or no ?? You realise we need to know in advance in order to prepare a suitable birthday celebration for you!

Yes i have the temporary registration e-mail,it came on Tuesday. As for my age well i'm going to re-check my certificates,how can such a youthful outlook belong to one so old? (i feel bribery and corruption is on the cards,and i don't think i want to suffer that at this point in my life.) Glen

Have found the problem we couldn´t answer - nudged up - from Mother of Five Will have another look for the FTM version 16 update thread.

That answers everything - Glen is your master - and you are his mistress - say no more!!! I´ll try to find the thread we had running last week about the version 16 update and nudge it up.

Elaine, in all matters FTM, Im afraid my protege has become my master and I look to Glen for the answers. I think I had a flash come up after I downloaded which said FTMV16 - so may be I do have that. But Im surprised they would give it out as an update without asking for dosh. BTW, talking of insurgence - where is Val??????

Aaahh, that explains it, I haven't uploaded my FTM tree to the Internet.

Oh - and forgot to say - Glen and I uploaded our FTM home pages about the same time (certainly within a day or two of each other) - mine now comes up on google searches - Glen´s is no where to be seen!!!

Just tried to access the catalogue but the lot number is showing for a London property. Bet the old place is worth a few quid though. Grade 1 listed,Georgian Terraced property,basement,ground and first floor,vacant. It isn't exactly small either. Glen

So what version are you running now - have you updated to FTM version 16 ? We had a thread running about this last week - but of course you were no where to be seen so we had to struggle on our own. And while we are at it - what about the FTM problem we had last week that no one could answer - even your stand in Glen couldn´t find the right answer to it - our only advice was to contact FTM direct (and we are still awaiting their reply!!) Just make sure you keep your computer up and running in future and we are not left in the lurch to cope with these problems on our own.
