Strange instance stopped me cold. Need help.

This is almost certainly the marriage of Thomas Anderson snr, who appears on 1851 census.......... Thomas Anderson Male Event(s): Birth: 29 SEP 1804 Newcastle Upon Tyne, Northumberland, England Christening: 02 JUN 1805 Newcastle Upon Tyne, Northumberland, England Marriages: Spouse: Jane Carr Birth: 1810 Whickham, Durham, England Christening: 17 JUN 1810 Whickham, Durham, Marriage: 20 SEP 1829 Tynemouth, Northumberland, England Reg

I can't find Jane Simpson's marriage in Tynemouth in 1860, although there is one for Newcastle???...... There is an 1853 match for both names in Tynemouth but this would make Thomas 15 and Jane 14. Is this common for the 1800's and what do you think the possibilities of 7 years passing before having their first child. BTW Reg, Tynemouth is in North Shields.

I've found the marriage for you (see above)............and just to clarify things....Tynemouth is/was the Registration district which includes/included North Shields. Reg
