Was Laura called PRESTON before or after she married? |

Was Preston her maiden or married name? Was Sheridan a surname or a middle name? |

YOu could find the Sheridan birth cert which would give a birth address and also state whether or not Laura was married. This would help find her on the nearest census. |

How would I start finding out details about my GG grandmother when all the information I have is her name was Laura Preston she had a child called Edward Sheridan in 1890 poss Wigan area (I don´t know if they had any more) and that my GG grandfather was also called Edward. Please help me as I have hit yet another brick wall. Thank You Claire |
