Glad I'm not the only one having problems and annoyed by this! Messaged GR last night, no response - so they must have had a lot of queries/complaints. Dunno why they can't leave things be - if it ain't broke, don't fix it! This may well to turn out to be the last straw for me ... shame after so many years of membership. Annie |

OK - take some of it back! Today My tree matches look almost usable now that they've shown the Tree Owner's name ... still don't like the fact I've got FIVE screens of surnames to trawl through though. Annie |

Snap, Annie. My membership runs out at the weekend and that is that as far as I am concerned. Like you, I have used this site since the beginning and I am disgusted at the way they are treating their customers. What with the farce of these changes (who asked for them anyway???) and the stupidity of the two-tier charges (increased way above infIation) they are taking us for fools. I have sent GR a note to this effect but have not yet had a reply. Nes |

I put up a thread about this yesterday - will bump it up as I found a way round it by scrolling down to refine search and entering 1 days (again!). GR responded to my email saying they are passing it to the 'technical team'........ Selena |

I have just had a message from GR support to say problem is fixed. Mine is working really well, easy to use and much quicker than yesterday. Helen |

It is working much better now although there still appears to be a bugette with the number count between the front page list and when you go into the name. |

Not only that - whereas you could click on a surname have a quick look see if anybody might be related and then use back button and go back to the page of names - now it takes you back to page 1 (even if you are on page 21, 33 or whatever - absolute nightmare! have found to view a surname I have got to open it in a new window. The previous system worked fine - so if it ain't broke why change it? Having been a member almost since the site started - I am getting fed up with these so called improvements - at the moment we are taking two steps backwards! |
