i was just thinking, i see no reason why thomas jacobs should have lied about his birth father, almost all of my ancestors had a couple of bastards in their lives and there are a whole bunch of us in oz and a fair few in the uk !!!.

Ed! ahum.... cough, cough .... you say...' i,ve searched and exhausted all sites accessible to me,' I/we don't know what sites they are but if you Google ... Dudley+St Thomas+OPR and/or Jacobs+dudley+babtism Lots will come up in the search. That's how I found the Hugh Wallis batch numbers for... Worcester, England. Info above. and/or have a look at Genuki site. They have a search thingy. If you go to the LDS site, there you can search for your closest LDS Church in your area, there are heaps in Australia. You just need to dot down the Batch numbers/film numbers and take a sandwich and a drink with you. I've yet to do this for the first time and we have a new LDS church been built in the last 12 months, just one street away! Anyway, good luck 'mate'. Babz ;-)
