I looked on the Hampshire Record Office site, where you can search their holdings, but didn't find anything which would help your quest, but will post the link in case someone else spots something.

( I recognised the name Crofton, it must be close to where, as a temp. I did Christmas post parcel deliveries back in the day, then the vans headed to a cafe in Titchfield before going back to the sorting office in Fareham ;-) )
