Buying a copy of the marriage cert would seem to be the best way of getting accurate info to work on

You say in your post the she 'married donald'...............but don't refer to Donald as your partner's grandfather.............

Thats go to be her , when i mentioned bryan to my OH he remembered a bryan as his nans brother, but i am getting confused with Gamble, is that Edith davies mothers maiden name ?
