Florence

Did you note the info about May?

And that your idea of who she married is not correct?

The 1907 death posted above was for Mary................not May

Hello again peeps. henry syrett's father was also henry syrett just to complicate things! henry was 45 on the marriage cert so 64 at death would be correct. i noticed that sometimes henry is written as harry as i think they are sometimes one of the same. confusing isnt it?

may indeed did die young although i dont know what of, dont have a death cert unfortunately.
thanks again

Just putting that marriage for May, as in London:
Marriages Dec 1915
Bonfield George H Syrett Mile End 1c 1282
Syrett May A Bonfield Mile End 1c 1282

Added:
and birth:
Births Sep 1893
Syrett May Amelia Stepney 1c 419

No, she is not Hannah's daughter, this is a different May who appears on the 1901 census and 1911 census in London with mother Amelia..

Do you have an address on the death cert?
To be honest, apart from Harry, I can't see any of them 1911!

Really strange - there isn't a record on CWGC of the death found on Ancestry

patchem

patchem Report 17 Jun 2012 11:16

Yes, she was a bit careless with the truth.

ErikaH

ErikaH Report 17 Jun 2012 11:15

Isn't that the son, Patchem?

EDIT;

I see you've posted additional info which confirms my supposition

I've just realised - belatedly - that Hannah was calling herself Syrett and having Syrett children long before she married Henry
Slow on the uptake this AM!

ok reggie, think i will do that. i have tried exhaustively and failed with this part of our tree.the weird spelling/eroors didnt help.
thanks for your help. will leave it here as i dont want people to waste too much time looking. i just thought a fresh pair of eyes might help, but from your replies it doesnt look as if it will gain anything new.
thanks for all your replies

Thanks for your help peeps. sorry yes 1902 is correct. from talking to my aunty, hollingbourne was the district latterly where the family were so im 99% sure this is her and her age fits in too. i have her first marriage etc and had a previous thread for that but not wanting to reinstate that just trying to find hannah thats all, but its proved quite hard.
as for her husband henry syrett, not sure what happened to him, thought he was away fighting but no matter its only her im interested in.
if i ordered the death cert would it tell me an address and who informed the death?
i do have hannahs marr cert, she was living in ashford , kent then.
thanks
