Does it cost anything to look through parish records for details of deaths and burials? |

If you go to the record office for the area, no. They may charge if you want copies of the records. Don't forget that many records are available on line. Some websites like IGI are free, some like Ancestry are pay to view. |

My mom mentioned today that most of my great grand-dad's family are buried in the same church as he was. Would like to find out more about it. |

My great grandad was Victor Davis and he died in the mid 1960's according to my mom. |

He is buried at Quarry Bank church as is his wife Dora who passed away in March 1987. |

My mom said he was in his 50's when he passed away, I'll ask her to pop to the churchyard to check the headstone for me. He did pass away at some point during the 1960's though. |

If your mother is able to pop to the churhyard to look for Victor's grave, she should be able to ask at the church for info about where the records are held - or perhaps she could have a look herself for other graves |
