Well that blows that death reg out of the water Jax.

I can't even find a record of him being in the Army in ww1.

He has done a good job of hiding himself.

Hi

Yes Ernest was his younger brother who died in WW1, I can't find my GGF marrying my GGM at all, I can see a marriage for him in 1870 but not to her, this is new to me. Are these records totally accurate. My GGM maiden name was Nichols/Nicholls

I will send off for the marriage I can find to see if it sheds any light, he worked in Goole, Hull and York from records I have seen so far. My GGM was born in Angram near York.

Its quite worrying me now that they were never actually married.
