Hi All
Went to cemetry , how sad no headstone poor gran been there since 1942 with no visitors except us ,i wish i could move her to our church graveyard , i will have a small headstone but will only be able to visit once a year as its miles from us at least she will be recognised now and not just a piece of grass tha gets mown in summer

In Midlothian, Scotland (Edinburgh and beyond) there is a volunteer group called Recording Angels. They have gone round some of the churchyards recording all the information they can. They have published booklets listing this information. It is an ongoing project and a very worthwhile one.
They are called the Lothians Family History Society and their website is: www.lothiansfhs.org.uk.
