good point Sylvia about the 3 letters, if I wanted to say "no" to Jan's initial question, I wouldn't be able to. Perhaps they are forcing us to say "yes" ;)

Perhaps Brightsolid thought that if the advisors were given access to the image that they would send the image via email to the poster

Thanks Sylvia. Should point out it's an FMP account, sorry, that was confusing of me. Did have a suggestion sent to me by Estelle but no luck unfortunately. I did however manage to send someone an image from a marriage on Scotland's People - amazed myself with that one.

Hello peeps.
Thanks for the "welcome back" comments, much appreciated. Not sure I'll ever be "normal" but here's hoping.
Jonesey, I still seem to have the "extras" but not sure how long for. One problem I had all along is that I can't view any FMP images on the account set up by Genes, though I have no problems with my existing 1911 account.

You're right, Sylvia, you didn't accuse me. I tend to exaggerate. My excuse is it's in my genes as I'm finding out as I disprove the stories that my ancestors told me.

Nice to have you back, Jan, and you do look better without that big yellow star on your shoulder.

My main probelem now is the fact that people can delete their post without it showing on the board. I was accused yesterday of talking to a ghost because I had responded to someone who had deleted their post.

There were a lot of posts yesterday that made no sense because people were responding to posts that had been deleted with nothing to show that a post had been deleted.

brummiejan, have you kept your free subscriptions? I hope so after what you've been through.

I did give in on Wednesday evening and joined fb .... just so I could read the GR board or wall or whatever it's called for myself.


I swore I would never join fb ....... but I was fed up of being left in the dark about GR's intentions as they were posting them only on fb

I get emails from Estelle ................. but I cannot reply to them, or send new emails to her or Support. My server tells me they are blocked?!!
